Marika Lorraine

Marika comes to us from KRCG in Jefferson City, Missouri where she worked as a general assignment, investigative, and crime reporter as well as fill-in anchor. She was on the "Fact Finder" team working to find answers in response to viewer questions.

She won a Missouri Broadcasters Association award for a piece on homeless sex offenders. Marika started her broadcast career at KOMU in Columbia, Missouri as a reporter and a member of the Target 8 investigative team. She has covered court cases featured on Court TV and 48 hours.

Marika graduated Cum Laude from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Journalism and a minor in psychology.

Marika is originally from the San Francisco Bay area. Her interests are quite diverse. She loves to travel. She played trombone in Marching Mizzou, has a red belt in Tae Kwon Do, was a competitive gymnast growing up, and loves to snowboard.

She also loves hiking, geocaching, playing video games, and watching sports (not to mention singing loudly in the car when there are no passengers). Last year, Marika spent two months at sea on a research ship working for a nonprofit education organization.

Marika lives in Edmond with her husband, two dogs (Carmello and Makani) and a cat (Drake).
