OKLAHOMA’S NEWSCHANNEL 4 NOMINATED FOR MORE EMMY AWARDS THAN ANY TELEVISION STATION IN OKLAHOMA CITY
NewsChannel 4 was nominated for seven Emmy awards from the Heartland Regional Emmy Awards chapter. “We are thrilled to receive seven Emmy nominations on the heels of our number one ranking in virtually every newscast in the Oklahoma City market. Our team of dedicated journalists work hard every day to bring you the best news, weather and sports coverage,” said Mary Ann Eckstein, Executive Vice President and News Director.
Three of the Emmy nominations were in the breaking news category. NewsChannel 4 was also recognized for reports in the categories of spot news, specialty assignment, general assignment and light and serious features.
