MORRISON, OK -- An Oklahoma community is still in disbelief after a woman was shot and killed inside of her home. The alleged shooter is her 12-year-old son.

"We determined that this was not an accidental shooting or suicide. This was intentional shooting by her 12-year-old son. OSBI is in the process of doing an affidavit and the child is in a juvenile facility," said OSBI Spokesperson Jessica Brown.

Russ Hughes, who is the pastor of Hilltop Country Church where Shannon Renfro and her son where members, spent much of the last 24-hours with the victim's family and even talked to the alleged shooter, but can't release any details.

"This is a time we are going to come together as a church; as a community; and we are going to rally around this family. We are going to support them and this is our main focus," said Hughes.

At this time officials are not releasing why the 12-year-old boy possibly pulled the trigger, but officials say the victim's youngest son, who was also inside the home during the shooting, is a potential key witness and could shed some light on this case.

According to officials with the Noble County District Attorney's Officer the boy will have a detention hearing Friday afternoon and there is a small possibility that he could be tried as an adult.
