OKLAHOMA CITY - One child is dead and another in the hospital after Oklahoma City Police say a drunk driver plowed into their car that was stopped at an intersection. Police arrested 60 year old James Opp on a charge of driving under the influence, but more charges could be on the way. Investigators say Opp struck a car killing 5 year old Adam Stutts and injuring his younger sister, 2 year old Avery.

"Last night there were reports of her possibly having brain damage and at this point we all need to pray for that little girl," says Randy Foister, a family friend.

The children were strapped into their safety seats when Opps truck rammed into the back of the car Friday night. The accident happened near I-240 and Western. Police suspect Opp was drunk when he got behind the wheel.

A family friend of the children tells NewsChannel 4 the 2 year old is recovering, but it will be a long road ahead. The family does not have health insurance so a fund in Avery's name has been set up at MidFirst Bank if you'd like to help.
