OKLAHOMA CITY -- New details in the custody battle over four Liberian girls adopted by an Oklahoma family. For nearly a year civil attorneys have been trying to get the girls removed from their Fairview home after their 13-year-old sister was allegedly abused by their foster parents Ardee and Penny Tyler.

Back in 2008 Ardee Tyler allegedly disciplined the girl by tying her to a bed post for nine hours.

His 19 year old son, Ashton, also confessed to sexually assaulting the same girl who was finally removed from the house, but her sisters remain with the Tyler family.

Earlier today a judge decided to continue their case until the criminal cases are over

"We wanted to get them out two years ago so yeah we want to get them out. I've never heard of any such situation where they are even remotely equivalent to the allegations," said Attorney Melvin Johnson.

According to county officials the Tyler's criminal case is scheduled to start in the middle of November.
