DEL CITY, OK -- A young man was shot and killed outside a Del City home around 8pm Wednesday night. Police believe the 17-year-old was shot in the yard at 1814 Karen Drive.
They say he then made his way into the home before he died.
Captain Jody Suit with the Del City Police Department says, "When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male that was shot. We won't say how. Many times we think at this point. The subject did succumb to his wounds at the scene."
Officers hesitate calling the shooting a drive-by pending further investigation.
There is no word yet on any possible suspects.
