OKLAHOMA CITY -- He's a man who has been on the run for months now. A former teacher and coach in the Putnam City School District, 34-year-old Brandon Brown is finally behind bars. In June of 2008, Brown was charged with sexually abusing his step-daughter as well as producing and distributing child pornography.

A year later, he racked up some more charges; he made voice recordings while in jail threatening to strangle Cleveland County Prosecutor Meredith Tipton and the judge in the case.

Meredith Tipton said, "My cases all involve children and they are precious, so people take it seriously. It doesn't happen often, but I can say that I have been threatened before, yes."

He bonded out of jail and then skipped town.

Living out of his car hopping from place to place, he kept authorities chasing him until Thursday.

Mike Parks with U.S. Marshal Service, said, "We had tracked him to this area and as we were going in looking for his car, they spotted it driving out."

Almost 150 miles away, Brown was arrested in Gordonville, Texas near Lake Texoma at a relative's lake house.

As for the mom of the abused girl, at the time of Brown's arrest, she supported him and didn't believe the abuse happened.

She has since divorced him and is now being charged with perjury in this case.
