OKLAHOMA CITY -- What is happening in Haiti has an impact right here in Oklahoma City. World Neighbors is a charity organization that has been doing service work in Haiti for decades. They have accounted for all staff members except two. Channel 4 was there as one of them made it safely home at the Will Rogers World Airport Thursday.

Judith Munai said, "I was laying in bed and the phone rang. His name came up on the phone and I screamed and ran to the living room, my husband is on the phone!"

News of Haiti's earthquake sent Judith Munai into a state of panic. Her husband, Humphreys, had just arrived there on business and was unreachable.

Judith and their two small children were intensely worried until late Wednesday night.

Humphreys Munai said, "People are already fighting for food. From the moment I called my family I told them it's time to appreciate every moment with loved ones and friends. In an instant it could be gone."

When the quake hit, Humphreys was in one of the few buildings built to withstand most earthquakes.

He took a taxi to the Dominican Republic to escape the devastation and flew home the next day.

Humphreys believes the country can recover but they need a lot of international help.
