DUNCAN, OK -- "The physical scars all over my stomach, hips and breast are deep and ugly, and the mental scars the rest of my life;" Heart wrenching words written in pencil by a child. Mental and physical scars that helped Stephens County prosecutors put 31-year-old Kevin Pearce behind bars.

He admitted to raping and impregnating two young relatives. The girls say the abuse started when they were about nine-years-old. They each gave birth two months apart at ages 12 and 14. Pearce is the father of both children.

"This is one of the most disgusting cases I've ever become involved in or heard about," Stephens County Assistant District Attorney Joshua Creekmore said. "We're talking about repeated rapes over a period of years of children."

Pearce was charged with two felony counts of child sexual abuse and was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences which is the punishment one of the victims wanted, but the time will never repair the trauma caused from years of abuse.

"Life in prison so this won't ever happen by him again," one young victim wrote in a victim's impact statement. "I have trouble being a kid."

Prosecutors say Pearce never apologized for what he did, and didn't either when we asked him. He turned away from our cameras.

"It's a hard case," Pearce's attorney Don Gutteridge said. "I've been around a long time, but it's very difficult to handle these kinds of cases. The facts are pretty much stacked against you, and certainly the moral high ground isn't with you either."

"I just want to say for the record Mr. Pearce is going to get everything he deserves when he goes to prison," Creekmore said.

The mother of the two girls was sentenced earlier this year to 30 years in prison for allowing the abuse.
