GUTHRIE, OK -- A Logan County couple is grateful for an early morning wake up call. Eric Morrison & Tammy Monholland were shaken from bed at 4:45 a.m. by their smoke detector. Smoke & flames had consumed their mobile home near Waterloo Rd. and Coltrane; they got out just in the nick of time.
Several agencies, including Edmond & Oak Cliff Fire Departments, spent about an hour battling the blaze.
The only hydrant in the area was frozen so crews had to shuttle in water to put out the fire.
The mobile home was a total loss.
