OKLAHOMA CITY -- A family furious is about a report from the State Medical Examiner's Office. They say it is an example of complete incompetence. The Turners have been trying to change their daughter Chanda's cause of death from suicide to homicide for 10 years. After a body exhumation and autopsy, they were told it would be changed. Then the Chief Medical Examiner, Collie Trant, who did the autopsy was fired.

Now they're being told a report they say is riddled with errors is the reason it won't be changed.

The family's attorney Jaye Mendros says the errors range from wrong birthdate to the inclusion of a "heavy truck" even though Chanda died from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Mendros says it's unbelievable.

"Now we've got the appearance of a truck in a death that happened in a home. If that is the best they can do on cases that are being watched this closely, what are they doing on cases that no one's watching?"

The M.E.'s office said they will look at the report and make corrections as they're needed.

The Turners are circulating a petition for reform legislation of the Medical Examiner's Office.

They are calling it the Chanda Turner Reform Bill.
