OKLAHOMA CITY -- Patrick and Caleb Lovato have been hospitalized at Children's Hospital since before Christmas. The 2-year-olds are triplets and have a sister who is at home. Both boys were diagnosed with Respiratory Syncytial Virus or RSV; a potentially deadly respiratory virus.

Patrick was kept alive on a lung bypass machine for 19 days until doctors made the painful decision to remove him from the machine because of severe bleeding problems.

Doctors didn't think Patrick would survive more than an hour off the machine but Patrick persevered and made it through.

Now doctors believe he will make a full recovery.

His mother, Sammie Lovato, says her prayers were answered.

"He's a miracle baby; most of the doctors are calling him a miracle baby because they didn't think he would make it through that day," Lovato said.

Patrick's brother Caleb is doing very well and should be going home soon.
