OKLAHOMA CITY -- Two Oklahoma Senators are spending the night outside the State Capital to draw attention to cuts to senior nutrition programs. The Senators are protesting a decision to cut $7.4 million from a program that provides meals to seniors.
Democratic Senators Kenneth Corn from Poteau and Tom Ivester of Elk City are hoping their "camp-out" draws attention.
Corn is calling for a special session to restore the funding cuts.
