OKLAHOMA CITY -- While stores stocked the shelves for this weekend's coming storm, many Oklahoma City residents prepped by getting all the sunshine they could. At Lake Hefner, the goal was to get outside and exercise before the snow forced people to stay inside. Some even took the day off work to get in a walk. Susan Brown was one of those walkers, accompanied by her two big dogs.
She told us, "I have a private business and I'm supposed to be working, but I know the snow is coming. Today is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous."
At Paw Park dog park, playing was the plan of the day.
Mary Samsel and her dog Shelby were enjoying the last of the nice weather before the storm.
Samsel says, "It's just hard to believe we are going to have snow tomorrow as pretty as it is today. It's just hard to believe."
