Suspicious apartment fire
OKLAHOMA CITY -- A raging fire at a metro apartment complex kept firefighters busy Sunday evening. It happened near Wilshire and Lyrewood Lane on our city's Northwest side. It was a big enough fire to catch the attention of people like Lori Broerse who happened to be driving by.

Broerse says, "We were about 2 miles out from Council and Wilshire and we saw the flames. We were like wow it's real black, real dark."

Battalion Chief Greg Lindsay with the Oklahoma City Fire Department says the building was vacant and boarded up after a fire there about two years ago.

Lindsay says, "Somebody got in, lit the building on fire again; definitely human set. All of the utilities except for water had been terminated from the structure."

Witnesses say they saw kids running from the building when it went up.
