EDMOND, OK -- An Edmond woman is upset after her eight-year-old nephew made a shocking discovery inside of his Halloween candy. According to Amy Gullett, someone stuffed a full size tack inside of a candy pumpkin and then placed it in her nephew's bag. Luckily he didn't eat it.
"It's just stupid; it's a dumb idea, it's not even funny, it's not funny, said Gullett. "Like I said, black licorice that is funny, this isn't funny," said Gullett.
Edmond police are now urging parents to check their children's candy if they have not already looked.
"This is not just a prank, it could have really injured someone or killed them and who would want a child to be hurt like this," said Glynda Chu with the Edmond Police Department.
