Update: Stillwater lake attack
STILLWATER, OK -- Two men are now behind bars accused of attacking a teenager at Lake McMurtry in Stillwater. Thursday morning, two fishermen arrived on the east shore of the lake and found 19-year-old Jason Wells collapsed near the boat dock. He was bleeding, stabbed, and beaten. Someone had cut his throat, but the teenager was alive and soon able to tell investigators what happened.

Officer Dale Higgins with the Stillwater Police Department says, "They asked him questions and he had to respond in writing because he couldn't communicate due to the injuries to his throat."

The answers Wells provided the investigators lead to the arrest of two men. They are 40-year-old Howard Gashwazra and his son 24-year-old Aaron Gashwazra from Tryon.

Both men have criminal records including a place on the sex offender registry. The father told investigators he knew his son had emotional and anger issues, but it's what he said next that is the most shocking part of this case.

Higgins says, "Essentially the father told them in the interview that he was bringing the son to town because the son was looking for someone to hurt. The father then brought him into Stillwater and they began to search for a victim apparently with that intention."

Investigators say the men met their victim on the strip in Stillwater. It's unclear what happened, or how much time had passed between the meeting and the attack.
