CHICKASHA, OK -- The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma has sanctioned the only fraternity on the school's campus for inappropriate conduct. The sanctions against Phi Lambda Chi come after an investigation into allegations regarding the fraternity's scavenger hunt.

The Star-Express newspaper reports that student Nikki Garland said two Phi Lambda Chi members and a pledge knocked on her apartment door and asked her to bare her chest for a photograph.

Phi Lambda Chi national executive director Bobby Thompson said the incident sounds "silly" but not dangerous.

The sanctions include prohibiting the fraternity from accepting new members or taking part in any social activities during the fall semester.

The investigation began when a professor overheard a group of female students complaining about the scavenger hunt.
