OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma man is lucky to be alive tonight after being beaten, thrown into a small pond, and left for dead. Investigators say the crime happened near the town of Pink, just a few miles west of Shawnee in Pottawatomie County. Authorities say the victim was visiting a friend when he was attacked by two unknown suspects.

Along with being stripped of his clothing and tossed into the pond, the crooks also took the 52-year-old's truck and wallet.

"You knock them in the head, split their head open in the front, correction in the top and in the front of the head, then you strip them down and throw them into a pond; you are not trying to help them, " said Sheriff Michael Booth.

Investigators did find the victim's truck and are now searching for two possible suspects who could be charged with attempted murder.
