NICHOLS HILLS, OK -- An Oklahoma County judge orders a Nichols Hills doctor accused of murder to be tested for mental competence. Today's ruling means Dr. Stephen Wolf will be evaluated to determine whether or not his murder case can go to trial.
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Formal charges are filed against a Nichols Hills doctor accused of killing his 9-year-old son. Today Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater charged Dr. Stephen Wolf with first-degree murder and a second count of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
NICHOLS HILLS, OK -- 9-year-old Tommy Wolf was laid to rest today. The third grader at Christ the King Elementary School in Nichols Hills was stabbed to death in his home, early Monday morning. His own father, 51-year-old Doctor Stephen Wolf, is accused of the horrific crime and remains behind bars.

NICHOLS HILLS, OK -- A Police affidavit filed Tuesday at the Oklahoma County Courthouse paints a grim picture of the murder of a 9-year-old boy in Nichols Hills Monday morning. According to the court document, the first officer on the scene says he arrived to Dr. Stephen Wolf's house just before 4 a.m. to find the front door open. Wolf's wife, Mary, was saying "he's killing my son" repeatedly.

By state law, health care providers are required to report risky behavior by fellow physicians, especially if that behavior puts patients at risk. Each year physicians have to renew their licenses with the state medical board and answer a series of health related questions regarding the previous year.

Police were called to 1715 Elm Hurst at just before 4 a.m. When the first police officer arrived, he found the home owner, Dr. Steven Wolf armed with a knife.
