OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- There is a new arrest in the case of a pharmacy robbery that went bad and ended up making national headlines. NewsChannel Four first told you about the attempted robbery of the Oklahoma City pharmacy in May. One of the teenage suspects was shot and killed by the pharmacist on duty. That pharmacist, Jerome Ersland, was then charged with murder. Prosecutors say he went too far. He says he was simply defending himself and his co-workers.
OKLAHOMA CITY -- It's a case that's drawn national attention. Today, there were new developments involving an Oklahoma City pharmacist charged with murder. Back in May, inside the Reliable Pharmacy on the city's southwest side, prosecutors say Jerome Ersland went too far when firing a number of shots in a 16-year-old robbery suspect.
