Kirk Humphreys
Kirk Humphreys graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Finance. Humphreys spent the first 17 years of his business career in partnership with his brothers building a company distributing beauty products and other non-foods to leading retailers nationwide.

Since 1989 Kirk has been active in the development of commercial real estate. Humphreys Real Estate Investments owns properties in Oklahoma and surrounding states with several new projects underway in Oklahoma City.

Humphreys was elected Mayor of Oklahoma City in 1998 and re-elected in 2002. Under his leadership, the city completed the historic MAPS Projects, a $360 million public investment which has led to more than $2 billion of private investment in downtown Oklahoma City. Kirk's greatest accomplishment as Mayor was his leadership of MAPS for Kids, a sweeping $690 million revitalization of the city's public schools. Kirk left the Mayor's office in late 2003 for an unsuccessful campaign for the U.S. Senate, but still keeps his hand in politics as co-host of NewsChannel 4's Flash Point.

Kirk is vice chairman for Aviation and Aerospace of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the Oklahoma District Council of the Urban Land Institute. He is a trustee of the Oklahoma City Airport Trust, Chairman of the Oklahoma City School Board and the Oklahoma Industries Authority. He serves on the boards of OGE Energy Corp., the Oklahoma State Fair, City Care and the Native American Cultural and Educational Authority.

Kirk and Danna Humphreys have been married for 35 years and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. They are members of Henderson Hills Baptist Church where they teach a class of young married couples.
