M. Basketball. Sooners Host Texas Tech on Blake Griffin Night
Oklahoma begins the second half of Big 12 play when it hosts Texas Tech Tuesday at 7 p.m. CST. The Sooners are 11-0 at home this year and have won 31 of their last 32 in Norman. Texas Tech, coming off an 81-74 home win over Oklahoma State on Saturday, is 0-4 in Big 12 road contests. Tuesday's game will air on the Sooner Radio Network with Bob Barry Sr. and Mike Houck calling the action. It will be televised by the Big 12 Network with Mitch Holthus, Bryndon Manzer and Melissa Knowles announcing.

W. Golf. OU Improves Score, Drops One Spot in Standings
The University of Oklahoma women's golf team fired a 301 (+13) on Monday in the second round of the 54-hole Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, P.R.Although the Sooners improved their team score from Sunday's 306, they dropped one spot to 10th place in the 16-team event that's being held at the Championship Course of the Trump International Golf Club. OU stands nine strokes in front of 50th-ranked Wisconsin and 13 strokes in front of 49th-ranked Iowa State.

It is the first such honor of the season for Rosholt and marks the second time in his career that he has secured the recognition.

Brittney Griner (Baylor) was named both the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player and Freshman of the Week by a media voting panel for games from Feb. 1-7. Griner earned her first award as player of the week and was chosen freshman of the week for the sixth time. She is the second freshman in league history to pick up both awards in the same week, joining Courtney Paris (Oklahoma) who accomplished the feat on Jan. 3, 2006.
